Dear Band Families, I’m sorry to announce a change to our 2008 Severna Park High School Band Camp plans. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I will not be able to hold band camp as planned at Frostburg State University. Instead, this year’s band camp will be held on our home turf, Severna Park High School. I know this maybe a disappointment for you; it is for me as well. However, this is only just a change in venue. We will still benefit from our time together. There will be plenty of opportunities for practice, teamwork, fun, and camaraderie. Please see the attached schedule for the week. Camp will now run from Monday, August 4 through Friday, August 8, 2008 from 12:00-9:00 p.m. Students are required to attend camp every day. They will need to bring with them musical instruments, backpack, water, sunscreen, a snack, and pens/pencils. Also, please make sure that they eat lunch before arriving to practice each day. Since we are no longer going away for camp, the initial cost has changed. I am now only asking for an additional $50.00 in order to help with any costs that we may incur. Thank you for your attention and understanding in this matter.
